Shanghai Law Society Financial Law Research Association , also known as Shanghai Financial Law Research Association.

was established in September 1993. In the past 25 years, the stem/council of the Financial Law Research Association has gone through five terms, and the current president is Wu Hong, a professor and doctoral supervisor of East China University of Political Science and Law. Under the leadership of the Shanghai Law Society and the efforts of previous cadres/councils, the Research Association has always been based on the two basic points of theory and application, with the responsibility of improving the research level of financial rule of law, promoting the development and prosperity of the financial market, and promoting the construction of Shanghai as an international financial center. Closely unite all sectors of finance, law, and justice, continue to promote activities, continue to enhance vitality, and effectively enhance joint forces, focus on ideas, countermeasures, experience, talents, and results, and work hard in academic activities, decision-making consultation, talent training, legal services, and rule of law publicity. Over the past 25 years, the Financial Law Research Association has united a large number of high-level financial law backbone teams, launched a number of achievements and talents in the construction of the rule of law in service financial centers, and formed a set of standardized and effective operation mechanisms and institutions. it has accumulated some characteristics of "Shanghai School" financial law research, which has a wide range of influence in Shanghai and domestic financial law circles and practical circles. The Financial Law Research Association has been awarded the title of Excellent Research Association of Shanghai Law Society on many occasions.?

According to incomplete statistics, in the past 25 years, the Financial Law Research Association has sponsored and undertaken more than 100 large and medium-sized academic forums and seminars, such as "Chinese Jurist Forum", "Chinese Financial Law Forum", "Shanghai Financial Law Forum" and so on, and held or participated in holding more than 40 academic salons such as "Youth Law Salon" and "Graduate Financial Law Salon, more than 50 annual meetings, general meetings, dry/council meetings or enlarged meetings were held, more than 60 legislative drafts and judicial interpretations were discussed, and more than 20 academic reports and lectures were held. In the name of the research society, he undertook and presided over 6 research topics such as the China Law Society and the Shanghai Law Society. The decision-making advice provided was repeatedly published by the Shanghai Law Society's "Shanghai Law Special News" (formerly known as "Law News") and was reprinted by the relevant internal staff of the China Law Society and the Shanghai Municipal Committee of Politics and Law. In the early years, he published 36 series of Selected Financial Regulations and 11 series of Selected Real Estate Regulations; the media have actively reported on many activities. Since 2011, 14 issues of the newsletter (semi-annual) of the Research Society have been compiled and distributed. The WeChat public number (public number: JRFYJH) of the Financial Law Research Society, the WeChat group of the Financial Law Research Society and the "Financial and Legal Salon Blog Circle" have been set up successively. Dozens of conference papers have been compiled and published, and since 2017, the research paper collection "Contemporary Financial Law Research" (Law Publishing House).

In order to give full play to the enthusiasm of all parties and carry out more academic and practical activities, the Financial Law Research Association has established and normally operates 10 professional committees or research centers, namely: trust Law Committee, Insurance Law Committee, Fund Law Committee, Futures and Derivatives Law Committee, Financial Law Teaching Committee, Bank Risk Assets Legal Research Center, Financial Consumer and Investor Rights Protection Legal Research Center, Science and Technology Innovation Financial Law Research Center, Internet Financial Law Practice Research Center, Corporate Governance and Finance Research Center.
